REPORT OF THE <br /> COMMITTEE ON GOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS <br /> AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br /> REGARDING: Comm. No. 407/Res. No. 170-13 <br /> DATE: October 15, 2013 <br /> LOCATION: Council Chambers, Kona, Hawai`i <br /> TITLE: A resolution urging the Hawai`i State Legislature and the Governor to <br /> support and provide funding for the highest priority capital <br /> improvement projects in the County of Hawai`i. <br /> EXPLANATION: Requests the Hawai`i State Legislature and the Governor to support the <br /> highest priority capital improvement projects in each of the Council <br /> districts. Each Council Member will designate a priority capital <br /> improvement project in his or her district. The Council will then create <br /> a prioritized list by ranking the projects for submission to the State <br /> Legislature and the Governor. Council Chair J Yoshimoto provided <br /> instructions for ranking the projects in Comm. 407.2, dated <br /> September 26, 2013. <br /> The resolution was introduced by Mr. Yoshimoto at the meeting of <br /> September 17, 2013 and postponed to October 15, 2013. <br /> AMENDMENTS: Comm.
