REGARDING: Comm. No. 407/Res. No. 170-13

LOCATION: Council Chambers, Kona, Hawai`i
TITLE: A resolution urging the Hawai`i State Legislature and the Governor to
support and provide funding for the highest priority capital
improvement projects in the County of Hawai`i.
EXPLANATION: Requests the Hawai`i State Legislature and the Governor to support the
highest priority capital improvement projects in each of the Council
districts. Each Council Member will designate a priority capital
improvement project in his or her district. The Council will then create
a prioritized list by ranking the projects for submission to the State
Legislature and the Governor. Council Chair J Yoshimoto provided
instructions for ranking the projects in Comm. 407.2, dated
September 26, 2013.
The resolution was introduced by Mr. Yoshimoto at the meeting of
September 17, 2013 and postponed to October 15, 2013.
