RESOLUTION NO. 203 13
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS AT THE
PANA`EWA EQUESTRIAN CENTER.
WHEREAS, gutters and downspouts at the Pana`ewa Equestrian Center Rodeo Arena
direct water to the arena behind the foundation where water accumulates and creates muddy,
hazardous conditions; and
WHEREAS, drainage lines are needed to redirect runoff from the large roofed bleacher
covering at the arena away from the area used by event spectators and participants; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation for runoff drainage lines at the Pana`ewa Equestrian
Center Rodeo Arena; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
