RESOLUTION NO. 204 13
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE VEHICLE AND EQUIPMENT
MAINTENANCE FACILITY ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT AT THE WAIAKEA
FIRE STATION.
WHEREAS, the Hawai`i Fire Department's Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance
Facility located at the Waiakea Fire Station is in need of a new roof; and
WHEREAS, the current condition of the Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance Facility
roof is beyond repair and requires a total replacement to provide a weather proof covering; and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department's equipment, vehicles, electronics and parts inventory,
including the rescue helicopter, are in danger of damage and exposure to the weather; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to
the Department of Public Works for a new roof for the Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance
Facility at the Waiakea Fire Station; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII,that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $25,000
CREDITED TO:
010.171.5171.22 Department of Public Works
Building R&M OCE, $25,000
110 Repairs to Facilities
(Vehicle and Maintenance Facility Roof
Replacement at the Waiakea Fire Station)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Public Works, the Fire Chief and the Director of Finance and that
the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with
the terms of this resolution.
