RESOLUTION NO. 215 13
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) FOR A YOUTH FOOTBALL CAMP IN PAHOA.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation collaborates with community
organizations to faciliate events that helps Puna's youth in a positive pro-social experiences that
reinforce cultural values, promote resiliency, and mitigate negative environmental influences; and
WHEREAS,the Hawai`i Football Club is a youth development football program that nurtures
the children of the Pahoa Community through its sports activities; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to the
Department of Parks and Recreation to coordinate a youth football camp with the Hawai`i Football
Club and three National Football League (NFL)players (guest coaches); now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII,that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this resolution
to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is
hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
