SUBJECT: DRAFT RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CLOSURE OF A ROADWAY
ACCESS FROM THE OLD MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY TO THE HAWAII
BELT ROAD AT PAPAALOA, NORTH HILO, HAWAII, TMK (3) 3-5-003 (POR)
Forwarded for your consideration is a draft resolution that authorizes the Department of Public Works
to barricade the subject access point at the Hawaii Belt Road. This action is now possible as Resolution
415-96 has created a new, safer, access point through a land exchange with the Hamakua Housing
Corporation.
Your attention and favorable consideration of this resolution will be sincerely appreciated.
