Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred Communication
'"No. 1370 and its attached Bill No. 452 , reports as follows :
Bill 452 proposes to amend Chapter 24 , Article 10 , Section 24-288 ,
entitled "Schedule 36 . Freight Loading Zones" of the Hawaii County
Code 1983 . The purpose of the bill is to provide a freight loading
zone in front of the Triple T Store located on the Kalapana side of
Pahoa Village .
Your Committee on Public Works has reviewed Communication 1370 from
the Chief Engineer which states that the Triple T Store and other
businesses in the immediate area would benefit from a freight loading
zone .
Your Committee on Public Works recommends passage of Bill No . 452 on
first reading by the County Council .
