Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred Communication
No . 1355 , reports as follows:
Communication No . 1355 from Mayor Dante K. Carpenter , submits for
Council review and confirmation, the appointment of Mr . Kaoru Nagai , a
democrat from Puna to the Water Comm:ssion.
Your Committee has reviewed the appointment and finds that the
nomination is in accordance with the provisions of Section 8-2 of the
Hawaii County Charter .
Your Committee on Public Works recommends that the Council of the
County of Hawaii confirm the appointment to the Water Commission of
Mr . Kaoru Nagai for a term of five years, ex• ing December 31, 1992 .
