Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred Communication
/No . 1354 , reports as follows :
Communication No . 1354 from Mayor Dante K. Carpenter , submits for
Council review and confirmation, the appointment of Mr . Louis Kaoiwi
of Hilo as the Disabled American Veterans representative to the
Veterans Advisory Committee .
Your Committee has reviewed the appointment and finds that the
nomination is in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance 86-123 .
Your Committee on Public Works recommends that the Council of the
County of Hawaii confirm the appointment to the Veterans Advisory
Commitee of Mr . Louis Kaoiwi representing the Disabled American
Veterans represntative for a term of 5 yea , expiring December 31 ,
1992 .
