Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred Communication
-No . 1353 , reports as follows :
Communication No . 1353 from Mayor Dante K. Carpenter , submits for
Council review and confirmation, the appointment of Mr . Hersel R.
Olson of Puna as the Big Island Retired Military Association
representative to the Veterans Advisory Committee .
Your Committee has reviewed the appointment and finds that the
nomination is in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance 86-123 .
Your Committee on Public Works recommends that the Council of the
County of Hawaii confirm the appointment to the Veterans Advisory
Committee of Mr . Hersel R. Olson for a term of five years , expiring
December 31 , 1992 .
