Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 142, reports as follows:
Bill No. 142, transmitted by Finance Director Nancy Crawford, via Communication No. 472 dated
October 17, 2013, amends Ordinance No. 13-65, as amended, the Operating Budget for the County of
Hawai`i for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2014. The amendment is as follows:
From:
020.3305.67 Hawai`i Energy Rebate - State Highway $ 10,888
To:
020.281.5281.11 LED Light Rebate Program Highway $ 10,888
This bill increases revenues of$10,888 to the Public Works Department's Traffic Division, bringing
the total grant appropriation to $55,000. The grant funds will be used towards future energy savings
efforts.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 142, and
recommends its passage on first reading.
