No. 193-13 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 10:58 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 193-13, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 193-13, transmitted by Finance Director Nancy Crawford, via Communication No. 473 <br /> dated October 17, 2013, authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of more than one <br /> fiscal year for a multi-year lease for a multifunction color copier for the Department of Liquor Control <br /> in Hilo. <br /> The five-year lease will authorize the Mayor to enter into a five-year lease agreement for a multifunction <br /> color copier at a cost of approximately $450 per month. <br /> There was no discussion on this measure. <br /> Pursuant to Section 10-11, Hawai`i County Charter, any contract, lease or other obligation requiring <br /> payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year shall be <br /> made or approved by resolution. <br /> Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 193-13, and <br /> recommends its adoption. <br /> sc <br /> AYES NOES A&E EX Respectfully submitted, <br /> EOFF X <br /> FORD X COMMITTEE ON FINANCE <br /> ILAGAN X <br /> KANUHA X <br /> KERN X <br /> ONISHI X <br /> POINDEXTER X VALERIE T.
