No. 199-13 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 10:18 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Resolution No. 199-13, <br /> reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 199-13, transmitted by Public Works Director Warren Lee, via Communication No. 479 <br /> dated October 10, 2013, grants a variance from Chapter 3-58(a)(5)(B), 3-58(c), and 3-59(a)(4) of the <br /> Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), to allow one wall sign on 75-1000 Henry <br /> Street, TMK Number (3)7-5-004:058 (Zoned "U" CG-20, Kailua Village Special Design District). <br /> Council Member Karen Eoff asked the applicant how the sign variance application is going to look in <br /> both appearance and size in relation to the existing signage already on the building. <br /> Applicant Jerry Anderson stated that the sign will have the same color as the current sign on the building <br /> to maintain uniformity.
