Subject: Public testimony on bill 113 draft 2
Dear County Council,
I am in favor of bill 113 draft 2. The truth about GMOs, pesticide,
and artificial fertilizer is; it doesn't increase crop production, it reduces
labor overhead and that's what this is all about, slashing labor costs.
Well, we have enough people to grow food the traditional way. The
markets are turning towards real food that was grown by real local
farmers using traditional organic techniques. For proof of this go to
Costco, Foodland and KTA where you can find large volume sales of
organic local produce. If there are organic farmers who can meet the
supply demand of Costco, then all farmers can meet the demand in all
stores nation wide. End of story.
We want clean, natural food without nerve gas or mutated genetics.
