Subject: I support GMO Bill 113 WITH AMENDMENTS (please read)
Those amendments must include a phase out of ALL GMO papaya and an immediate prohibition of
GMO seed corn (the one being grown in Ookala).
I don't think people realize that the papaya is a very medicinal fruit that makes a very essential digestive
enzyme called PAPAIN. I heard Mr. Ilagan speak of GMO papaya's "nutritional value" but I haven't yet
heard ANY comparison from the GMO experts between the nutritional value of a NON-GMO papaya
and a GMO papaya.
Why is that? Probably because the GMO papaya's nutritional value is very low as compared to a NON-
GMO papaya.
I have also heard Dr. Susan Miyasaka tell us that when a group of experts AGREE that GMO food is
safe, we, the public are supposed to believe them. Hahaha!!! what a big fat JOKE! So does that mean
that when the AMA and FDA tell us that all of their pharmaceutical drugs are safe that we are supposed
to believe them too.? Even though the famous Starfield Study, published in JAMA in 2000 tells us that
pharmaceutical drugs when taken by patients as prescribed by their doctors KILL over 100,000 people
each year? The Starfield Study also tells us that the US medical system is the THIRD LEADING
CAUSE OF DEATH IN THE US after heart disease and cancer.
STOP being FOOLED by these group of experts who keep supporting CORPORATE B.S. !!! Enough
already. Mahalo!!!
