Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred Communication
'No . 1153 and its attached Bill No. 378 , reports as follows:
Bill 378 proposes to establish a new bus stop on the Puna side of
Lanikaula Street fronting the Hale Hoaloha Apartments . This bus stop
is being established during school days between the hours from
7 :00 a .m . to 8 :00 a .m. and from 3: 00 p.m. to 4 :00 p.m. Chapter 24 ,
Article 10 , Division 3 , Section 24-275 , subsection (a ) of the Hawaii
County Code 1983 is being amended to accomplish this purpose .
Your Committee on Public Works has reviewed the proposed Bill and the
supporting documentation from the Mass Transportation Agency and is
in accord with the proposal .
Your Committee on Public Works recommends •assage of Bill No . 378 on
first reading by the County Council .
