�, L`.1!N.S1 <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII :-i6�' % : STATE OF HAWAII <br /> + tee.:': <br /> f'TE of N` '. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 227 13 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR KEALAKEHE PROJECT GRAD. <br /> WHEREAS, Kealakehe Project Grad will provide 260 graduates from Kealakehe High <br /> School, West Hawai`i Explorations Academy, and qualifying home-schooled seniors a <br /> graduation-night celebration on May 24, 2014, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. the following <br /> morning; and <br /> WHEREAS, Kealakehe Project Grad provides a safe, drug- and alcohol-free celebration <br /> on graduation night to high school seniors and has done so since its inception in 2001; and <br /> WHEREAS, Kealakehe Project Grad needs funds to help pay for activities, <br /> entertainment, decorations, food, transportation, gifts, memorabilia, door prizes, a closing <br /> speaker, dvd/video and photography, advertising and other expenses associated with the <br /> graduation-night celebration on May 24, 2014; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to <br /> the Department of Liquor Control to help pay for expenses associated with the graduation-night <br /> celebration on May 24, 2014; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: GENERAL <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $5,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $5,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.251.5251.39 Department of Liquor Control $5,000 <br /> Public Programs <br /> 115 Misc.
