aloha i have been living in Hawaii for 20 yrs. and love the "aina". It is sacred and the
GMO"s must stop. I am a organic farmer. We have 20 acres of land on the Hamakua and we
do not want to see GMO here or anywhere for that matter. We need to have a choice in the
matter, and the way it is now....we do not. The open air cultivation of GMO crops on the
Hamakua for Big Island Dairy puts all organic farmers who do not want to be contiminated with
unhealthy GMO crops at risk. This needs to stop now!..please write amendments to this
exzemption...have a true "no open air cultivation" law. Please do this for future
generations....our children and our children's children. Monsanto is a bully....and big money is
involved. Do the right thing. Keep America free. We have the RIGHT TO CHOOSE!. Mahalo
for your deep consideration of what so many are saying.
