Dear Hawaii County Councilmembers,
Thank you for an opportunity to use this form in sharing my opinion on Bill 113.
Although I do not think Bill 113 goes far enough to curb GMO experimentation on Hawaii Island, I am in strong
support of Bill 113.
I have viewed Geneticist David Suzuki's interview on YouTube, and he states clearly that there is no clear data on
the long term effects of genetically modified food. Hawaii Island is too fragile an ecosystem to allow
experimentation that may harm us. Please be courageous and pass Bill 113 to show that we must place priority
on protesting our ecosystem.
