Subject: Please Vote "Yes" on 113, Draft 2
Aloha Council members,
I am writing to express my support for Bill 113 and to urge you to once again vote "yes" on its
2nd draft.
I believe that if this bill passes, one day Hawaii County will stand out as the progressive place
that it is in the State and the Country. Genetically Modified crops and the general industry are
in decline. Consumers are rejecting the technology and wanting safer alternatives, and health
concerns continue to rise over the consumption and the growing of these crops.
Please preserve the the integrity of Hawaii County's lands and stand with the majority of your
constituents, as well as the bill's supporters around the nation and the world.
I oppose the amendments in Comm. 393.52/393.53/ 393.54/ 393.55.
