These funds will be used to address maintenance issues at Kalaniai Road in Kalopa in the <br /> Hamakua District. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $20,000 <br /> to the Department of Public Works, Highways Division's N. Hilo/Hamakua Road Materials <br /> account within the Highway Fund. <br /> The Department of Public Works requests that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee <br /> and be placed on the December 4, 2013 Council Agenda in order to accompany the concurrent <br /> resolution.
