Aloha Council,
I support passage of Bill 113, Draft 3.
As I have stated in prior testimony on this issue, the USDA organic standards do not yet afford us
sufficient protection from GMO cross-contamination with mandatory testing for purity of seeds used,
or other measures. Therefore it is of utmost importance for measures like Bill 113 to become effective,
so that GMO cross-contamination can be precluded at least in the areas that enact them.
