As a small farmer in Puna, I firmly believe that GMO crops are invasive and destructive to our delicate ecosystems. On 3 virtually non-arable acres, we are growing bananas, chili peppers, sweet potatoes, kalo, citrus, chard, kale, tomatoes, and hundreds of varieties of other crops, with absolutely NO sprays or chemicals. Only compost, mulch, and manure from our animals. We also have started up an aquaponics system, growing tilapia. GMO crops are based on outdated, monocrop, industrial agriculture which is destroying our planet! We do NOT need GMO crops to grow plenty of food for everyone on the planet. These crops infect all crops around them, leaving us at the potential for losing a great amount of biodiversity. PLEASE, pass Bill 113. Jennifer Reschan L :772 CD CD t3 7 4.--: A '3 irk U Comm.
