Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred Communication
1078 and 1078 .1 reports as follows:
Communications 1078 and 1078 .1 , from Mr . Khanh Nguyen proprietor of
the Me Kong Grocery Store , requesting Council approval of a permit to
use a portion of the County sidewalk to display flowers for sale for
Memorial Date in front of his store at 60 Ponahawai Street from
May 20 , 1987 through May 27 , 1987 . Mr . Nguyen has secured the
approval of his landlord , Mr . Stanley Lee and agrees to abide by all
of the sidewalk sale rules .
Your Committee on Public Works recommends a• , oval of this seven day
sidewalk permit by the County Council .
