Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred Communication
'No . 995 , reports as follows :
Communication No. 995 from Mayor Dante K. Carpenter , submits for
Council review and confirmation, the appointment of Mr . Thomas J.
Hoey to the Veterans Advisory Committee.
Your Committee has reviewed the appointment and finds that the
nomination is in accordance with the provisions of
Ordinance 86-123. Mr . Hoey is being appointed in an unattached
capacity for a three year term which expires on December 31, 1989 .
Your Committee on Public Works recommends that the Council of the
County of Hawaii confirm the appointment to the Veterans Advisory
Committee of Mr . Thomas J. Hoey for a term of three years , expiring
December 31 , 1989 .
