Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred Communication
'No . 984 and its attached Bill No. 342, reports as follows :
Bill 342 proposes to amend Chapter 24 , Article 10 , Section 24-280 ,
Schedule 28, Subsection (c ) South Hilo of the Hawaii County Code
1983, by establishing no parking zones in front of the Bank of
Hawaii and the American Savings and Loan Building on Pauahi Street .
The purpose of these new no parking zones is to provide for adequate
sight distances on Pauahi Street .
Your Committee on Public Works has reviewed the proposed Bill and
the Communication 984 and is in concurrence with the proposed
amendments .
Your Committee on Public Works recommends p. ssage of Bill No . 342 on
first reading by the County Council .
