Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred Communication
No . 962 and its attached Bill No. 333 , reports as follows :
Bill 333 proposes to authorize the Hawaii County police department
to enforce handicapped parking privileges on private property where
the property owner has specifically designated stalls for
handicapped parking. This authority is in addition to the police
departments authority to enforce handicapped parking privileges on
public property under the jurisdiction of the County .
Your Committee on Public Works concurs with the intent and purpose
of Bill No . 333 and recommends its appr.val .
