Your Committee on Public Works, to which was referred
'Communication 517 , and its attached Bill 167 , reports as follows:
The purpose of Bill 167 is to amend the provisions of Chapter 2,
Article 9 , Section 2-41 of the Hawaii County Code 1983 by changing
and simplifying the titles of three operating divisions within the
Department of Public Works .
The Department of Public Works recommends that Bill 167 be filed and
in its place, a more comprehenseive measure , Bill 245 be considered .
Your Committee on Public Works, recommends that the Council receive
and file Bill 167 .
