As someone who has been to the Big Island several times and finds it one of the most beautiful places on
earth I am so fearful of what the possibility of fracking could do to this incredible spot. I have a radio
show on a public radio station in Cortez Colorado that addresses our environment and your health. On
that show we talk a lot about the impacts of fracking and that there is no such thing as a harmless set of
chemicals in the fracking process and they do, in fact, leak constantly so the myths of the safety of
fracking -- no matter how they couch it, is just that a myth. I hope you will recognize how important it
is for the environment of both the world and
your place on the planet to keep fracking out of your path. There are so many other forms of energy
that can be harnessed. Thanks
