Your Committee on Public Works , to which was referred Bill 146
entitled "An Ordinance Amending Chapter 24 , Article 10 ,
Section 24-279 , Schedule 27 , of the Hawaii County Code 1983 ,
relating to Traffic Regulations " , reports as follows:
The purpose of this bill is to eliminate parking on the pavement
along the entire length of Kaieie Road as parked vehicles on this
roadway interrupt the free flow of traffic and restrict sight
distances .
Your Committee on Public Works is in agreement with the purpose of
Bill 146 and recomends its adoption .
