Your Committee on Public Works , to which was referred Bill 124
relating to the Traffic Code , reports as follows :
The purpose of Bill 124 is to authorize the enforcement of the
provisions of the Traffic Code by duly deputized employees .
Your Committee is aware that this amendment to the County Code will
permit the County to expand the responsibilities of its deputized
employee currently enforcing parking regulations at the County
Building to include parking regulation enforcement in the Downtown
Hilo area .
Your Committee on Public Works is in agr - -ment with the purpose of
Bill 124 and recommend it pass first readi .- .
