It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. K. Angel Pilago to the Hawai'i County Veterans
Advisory Committee. Mr. Pilago, a former two-term Hawai'i County councilmember is a
lifelong resident of Hawai'i.
Mr. Pilago is a member of the Polynesian Voyaging Society, the Historic Hawaii
Foundation, the Kaloko-Honokohau Advisory Committee and the Meet & Eat Feed the
Hungry Program. He states that he is a Democrat. If confirmed, he will serve a term to
expire on December 31, 2018.
