SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT:
SECTION 24-284 - KINOOLE STREET - TWO HOUR PARKING AREAS
We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5. Parking,
Section 24-284, Schedule 32. Two hour parking areas, Paragraph (c) South Hilo be
amended by revising existing items:
(17) Kinoole Street, NORTHEAST Lmakai) side, the first ten SEVEN stalls southEAST
of Ponahawai Street.
This amendment is being proposed based on a request from the public to revise the
existing two hour parking in the subject area.
(19) Kinoole Street, SOUTHWEST Lmaukal side, the first six SEVEN stalls
southEAST of Ponahawai Street and Contral Firo Station EXCLUDING THE
FREIGHT LOADING ZONE AS SET FORTH IN SECTION 24-288 (SCHEDULE
36. FREIGHT LOADING ZONES).
