Your Committee on Public Works, to which was referred
'Communication 366 , reports as follows :
Communication 366 submits for Council confirmation, the appointment
of Mayor Dante Carpenter as State Deputy Director of Civil Defense
for the County of Hawaii . The appointment is being made by
Major General Alexis T. Lum, Director of Civil Defense pursuant to
the provisions of Section 128-3 Hawaii Revised Statutes , as amended.
The Committee on Public Works recommends Council confirmation of
Mayor Dante Carpenter as State Deputy Directo of Civil Defense for
the County of Hawaii .
