Your Committee on Public Works , to which was referred Communication
No . 266 , reports as follows :
Communication No . 266 announces the appointment of Mr . Pete Schneider
to the Transportation Commission to replace Shirley Lewis whose term
has expired. Mr . Schneider has been a resident of Kona for 11 years
and is being appointed for a term to expire on December 31 , 1986 .
This appointment is being made in accordance with the provisions of
Section 18-3 of the Hawaii County Code .
