Your Committee on Public Works, to which was referred Bill 72
entitled "An Ordinance Amending Chapter 24, Article 10 , Of The Hawaii
County Code 1983 Relating To Traffic Regulations" , reports as follows:
The purpose of this ordinance is to extend the hours during which a
bus stop is authorized on Mohouli Street, thereby accommodating its
1: 15 p.m. school closure of Kapiolani School on Wednesdays and for
the deletion of passenger loading zones in front of the Mamo and
Palace Theaters for the purpose of providing additional metered
stalls for the public .
Your Committee on Public Works is in agreement with the purpose of
this ordinance and recommends its adoption by the Council of the
County of Hawaii .
