Your Committee on Public Works, to which was referred -Bill 60
entitled "An Ordinance Amending Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 3,
Section 24-275 , Schedule 23, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 ,
relating to Traffic Regulations, " reports as follows:
The purpose of this ordinance is to designate a bus stop on an
existing paved area of Sarona Road in Kailua, Kona, Hawaii . This
paved area is not required for through traffic.
Your Committee has also requested and received input from the Kailua
Village Special Commission (Communication 277) which forwards a
favorable recommendation on the proposed Bus Stop .
Your Committee on Public Works concurs with the purpose of Bill 60
and recommends its passage by the County Council .
