Your Committee on Public Works, to which was referred Bill 54
entitled "An Ordinance Amending Chapter 24, Article 10 , of the
Hawaii County Code 1983 , relating to Traffic Regulations", reports
as follows :
The purpose of this bill is to convert those 8-hour parking meters
on the makai side of Kamehameha Avenue between. Waianuenue Avenue and
Shipman Street to 2-hour time limit metered parking space.
Your Committee finds that this request was initiated by the Hawaii
Redevelopment Agency and has the concurrence of the Department of
Public Works . Your Committee on Public Works agrees with the
purpose and intent of this amendment and recommends adoption by the
County Council .
