Your Committee on Public Works, to which was referred Communication
45 , reports as follows :
Communication 45 is a transmittal letter which submits for
introduction, Resolution 14-85 . This Resolution proposes
abandonment of a road remnant created by the realignment of a
portion of the Old Mamalahoa Highway in Makaha , Ka 'u .
The resolution informs the State Department of Land and Natural
Resources that the road remnant is no longer needed by the County of
Hawaii and is declared abandoned.
Your Committee on Public Works concurs with the intent and purpose
of Resolution 14-85 and recommends its adoption by the County
Council .
