Your Committee on Public Works, to which was referred Bill 1141
entitled "An Ordinance Amending Chapter 24, Article 10 , Section
24-280 , Schedule 28, of the Hawaii County Code 1983, relating to
Amendments of Traffic Code" , reports as follows :
The purpose of this bill is to extend the existing No Parking Zone
on Kilauea Avenue at Kawailani Street an additional 60 feet in the
Puna direction in order to improve sight distances .
Your Committee is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill
1141, recognizes the safety considerations, and recommends adoption
by the County Council .
