ORDER OF RESOLUTIONS BILLS FOR ORDINANCES Serving the Interests of the People of our Island Hawai`i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer PWPRC-15 December 17, 2013 Bill 161: AMENDS CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 2 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO MOVING VEHICLES Amends Section 24-265, Schedule 13 (Yield locations), subsection (c), South Hilo, by adding "Ainaola Drive, north approach adjacent to parcels 2-4-007:049 and 2-4-007:053." Reference: Comm. 552 Intr. by: Mr. Kanuha (B/R) Bill 162: AMENDS CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5, SECTION 24-284 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO PARKING Amends Schedule 32 (Two hour parking areas), subsection (c), South Hilo, by revising item 17 to read "Kino`ole Street, northeast(makai) side, the first seven stalls southeast of Ponahawai Street;" and revising item 19 to read "Kino`ole Street, southwest (mauka) side, the first seven stalls southeast of Ponahawai Street excluding the freight loading zone as set forth in Section 24-288 (Schedule 36, Freight Loading Zones)." Reference: Comm. 554 Intr. by: Mr. Kanuha (B/R) Bill 164: AMENDS CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 7 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), PARKING METER ZONES Amends Section 24-289 (36 minute parking meter zones), by changing the rates to 10 cents for 12 minutes and 25 cents for 36 minutes on portions of Kekaulike and Kino`ole Street. Reference: Comm. 555 Intr. by: Mr. Kanuha (B/R) Page 2 PWPRC-15 December 17, 2013 Bill 165: AMENDS CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 7 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO PARKING METER ZONES Amends Schedule 39.1 (two hour parking meter zones), by changing the rates to five cents for fifteen minutes; ten cents for thirty minutes; and twenty-five cents for seventy-five minutes in the County Building parking lot at the corner of Aupuni and Pauahi Streets during regular working hours of the County. Page 3 PWPRC-15 December 17, 2013 Submitting Video Testimony: Those submitting video testimony may email a complete web address (url) to videotestimony @hawaiicounty.,gov before 12:00 noon on the business day prior to the meeting. The email shall indicate the appropriate Committee or Council meeting, the meeting date, agenda item (communication, bill, resolution, or report number), and number of testifiers on the video submittal. Each video submittal shall be limited to a single agenda item. Video submittals may contain up to three individual testifiers and shall each be up to three minutes in length. Video testimony will not be played during the meeting; however, it will be distributed to Council Members prior to the meeting. The Office of the County Clerk reserves the right to refuse testimony containing inappropriate content or that is not in compliance with Council Rule 13 (Public Statements and Testimony).
