Re: Discussion Regarding the Selection Process for the Legislative Auditor Position
Pursuant to Section 92-5(a)(2), Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended, I request that the Council
hold an executive meeting to consider the hire of an officer or employee.
The purpose of this executive session is to continue our discussion regarding the selection of the
new Legislative Auditor. We expect to discuss with the Corporation Counsel personnel matters
directly related to the Councirs powers, duties, privileges, immunities and liabilities. I humbly
request that this matter be placed on the December 18, 2013, Council meeting agenda.
