SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT:
SECTION — 24-265 - OLD MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY AT THE ONE-LANE
ROAD
We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 2. Moving
Vehicles, Section 24-265, Schedule 13. Yield locations, paragraph (a) Hamakua be
amended by adding new item and renumbering as required:
( ) OLD MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY, SOUTHWESTBOUND APPROACH
ADJACENT TO PARCEL 4-6-011:046.
This amendment is being proposed based on a request from the public to assign right of
way at the subject one-lane section of Old Mamalahoa Highway.
A location map is attached for your reference.
