SUBJECT: Proposed Amendments to Bill No. 159, An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No.
13-66, As Amended, Relating To Public Improvements and Financing Thereof
For The Fiscal Year July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014 (Add St. John's Road Guardrail
Project)
Please find attached proposed amendments to Bill No. 159. The proposed amendments to
Section 1 are illustrated below in Ramseyer format (material to be deleted is bracketed and
stricken through; material to be added in underlined; all bolded for emphasis only), and read as
follows:
"SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 13-66, as amended, relating to public improvements and
financing thereof for the fiscal year July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014, is hereby amended by adding
the following project:

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 13-66, AS AMENDED, RELATING
TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR JULY 1, 2013 TO JUNE 30, 2014.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 13-66, as amended, relating to public improvements and
financing thereof for the fiscal year July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014, is hereby amended by adding
the following project:
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS:
Saint John's Road— Guardrail Project $ 60,000
(110.399.5398.40)
SECTION 2. Funds for this project shall be provided from:
General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund-Fund Balance $ 60,000
and/or Other Sources
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
