Bill 30 (Draft 3): Relates to Public Improvements and Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1,
2011 to June 30, 2012. Proposed $147,064,385 Capital Improvements Project Budget for the
County of Hawai`i. AYES: Council Members Blas, Ford, Hoffmann, Ikeda, Pilago, Smart,
Yoshimoto, and Chair Yagong — 8; NOES: None; ABSENT: Council Member Onishi — 1;
EXCUSED: None.
Bill 50: Amends Ordinance No. 10 -59, as Amended, the Operating Budget for the County of
Hawai`i for the Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2011. Appropriates revenues in Federal Grants —
staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) Program ($100,000); and
appropriates same to SAFER Program — Fire. AYES: Council Members Ford, Hoffmann, Ikeda,
Onishi, Pilago, Smart, Yoshimoto, and Chair Yagong — 8; NOES: None; ABSENT: Council
Member Blas — 1; EXCUSED: None.
