HomeMy WebLinkAboutDIG First Reading 1-041 2010-2012 (8/15/12)Bills Numbered 168, 280, and 282 I hereby certify that the following Bills passed first reading at the meeting of the Hawaii County Council on August 15, 2012, by vote as listed below: Bill 168: Amends Section 25-8-23 (Mountain View Zone Map), Article 8, Chapter 25 (Zoning Code) of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition), by Changing the District Classification From Single -Family Residential — 10,000 Square Feet (RS -10) to Village Commercial — 10,000 Square Feet (CV -20) at `Ola`a, Puna, Hawaii, Covered by Tax Map Key: 1-8-002:064 (Applicant: Donny Souza and Melissa Mulliken). Should the applicant(s), successors or assigns develop residential units on the subject property, the applicant(s) shall make its fair share contribution to mitigate the potential regional impacts of the property with respect to parks and recreation, fire, police, solid waste disposal facilities and roads. The fair share contribution shall have a combined value of $7,903.35 per multiple family residential unit ($12,316.47 per single family residential unit). Bill 280: Amends Ordinance No. 11-81, Which Authorizes the Mayor to Enter Into an Intergovernmental Agreement for a State Water Pollution Control Revolving Fund Loan for Wastewater Public Improvement Projects and Authorizes the Issuance of General Obligation Bonds for the Purpose of Financing Qualified Wastewater Public Improvements of the County of Hawaii. Amends Ordinance No. 11-81 to solely reflect the change in the monetary amount of $9,200,000 to $9,822,000 indicated in the ordinance title and Section 1, and in Exhibit A which has been replaced with a new exhibit labeled as Exhibit A, Draft 2 (Kalaniana`ole Interceptor Sewer Rehabilitation Phase II [$8;000;000] ($8,622,000), and Kula`imano and Papa`ikou Dewatering ($1,200,000), for a total of $9,822,000).
