Council on November 20, 2013, by vote as listed below:
Bill 141 (Draft 2): Amends Chapter 2, Article 3, Section 2-9 of the Hawai`i County Code 1983
(2005 Edition, as Amended), Relating to Settlement of Claims. Increases the settlement amount
for claims to be settled by the Office of the Corporation Counsel, without Council authorization,
from $1,500 to $10,000. AYES: Council Members Ford, Ilagan, Kanuha, Kern, Onishi,
Poindexter, Wille, Yoshimoto, and Acting Chair Eoff—9; NOES: None; ABSENT: None;
EXCUSED: None.
Bill 142: Amends Ordinance No. 13-65, as Amended, the Operating Budget for the County of
Hawai`i for the Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2014. Increases revenues of$10,888 in the Hawai`i
Energy Rebate - State account, and appropriates same to the Light Emitting Diodes, Light Rebate
Program account. AYES: Council Members Ford, Ilagan, Kanuha, Kern, Onishi, Poindexter,
Wille, Yoshimoto, and Acting Chair Eoff— 9; NOES: None; ABSENT: None; EXCUSED:
None.
