Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Bill No. 163
reports as follows:
Bill No. 163, transmitted by Public Works Director Warren H. Lee, via Communication No. 554
dated November 27, 2013 amends Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 6, Section 24-288,
Schedule 36, subsection (c), South Hilo, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as
amended), by adding "Kino`ole Street, southwest (mauka) side, from a point 297 feet southeast
of Ponahawai Street and extending 52 feet in the southeasterly direction."
The purpose of this amendment is to update the Hawai`i County Code to match what exists in the
field.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose
and intent of Bill No. 163 and recommends it passage on first reading.
