Resolution 240-13 Commits to Funding the Cost Items Awarded by Arbitration o' —
To Hawaii Fire Fighters Association Bargaining Unit 11 and Employees
Excluded from Bargaining Unit 11 for the Contract Period July 1, 2011
Through June 30, 2017
My name is Robert H. Lee and I am the President of the Hawaii Fire Fighters
Association, Local 1463,AFL-CIO. The HFFA represents approximately 2,100 active
professional fire fighters throughout the State which includes more than 350 County of Hawaii
Fire Fighters. HFFA strongly supports Resolution 240-13–Collective Bargaining Cost Items for
Bargaining Unit 11 (Hawaii Fire Fighters Association).
The arbitration award is a result of two plus years of negotiation and arbitration
proceedings. It is a fair award for our members and we respectfully request your support in
approving Resolution 240-13 to fund the collective bargaining cost items included in the
arbitration award. Thank you.
