Subject: Reject Kohala Kai's proposal
Regarding the King's trail:
I urge the county council to reject Kohala Kai LLC's proposal to alter the ancient ala loa trail
& undermine traditional & customary practices & public uses of the shoreline north. This
action would open the door to developers seizing shoreline land control that is now in the
public domain. Instead of allowing such a thing, the Council should pass a law holding these
public access rights in perpetuity.
